Professional Bio
Grant is an experienced disability practitioner with over 20 years in the disability sector. He is a dedicated leader, advocate and mentor focused on client centered outcomes through a consultative and positive support framework. Grant commenced his career in the field of Acquired Brain Injury, working in all areas of service delivery, behaviour consultancy and training.
Grant has extensive experience working with people with ABI, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, Prada-Willi, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Autism, Mental Health, Cerebral Palsy, Diabetes and Neurological Disorders such as Dementia, Epilepsy and Lennox Gastaut Syndrome.
With strong values in social justice, Grant transitioned to work with Endeavour Foundation as a Behaviour Practitioner specializing in restrictive practices before accepting an opportunity to educate in the field of Government Investigations and joined the Complaints and Integrity Unit. After a number of years of imbedding safeguarding into Endeavour, Grant accepted an opportunity to join the Service Design team to focus on developing pathways for people with disability into employment. His current project is researching pathways for people transitioning from work into their next stage of life.
