Cassandra has completed a graduate certificate in human rights and is currently completing her interdisciplinary honours with Curtin University. Her honours research is centered around the prevalence of linguicism in legal settings and the role Easy English can play in mitigating these disadvantages.
Growing up with profound post-lingual sensorineural deafness in the 80s, Cassandra has always felt passionate about human rights and advocacy. Being mum to a 12-year-old autistic boy has only reinforced her drive to advocate for a society that is accessible for all.
